Mosque Visits

IRG offers mosque visits to teachers and their students to enhance the classroom presentation with a practical experience. At a mosque visit the speaker talks about the importance and purpose of a mosque and mainly answers students’ questions. Mosque visits have become very popular with many schools as teachers and students appreciate the informal setting. Depending on the time of the mosque visit, students also have the opportunity to observe prayers. Mosque visits are conducted at Masjid An-Nur, 1729 Lyndale Ave. N in Minneapolis and at Abu Khadra Mosque, 4056 7th St. in Columbia Heights in accordance with their schedules.
