IRG Youth Presentations
Like fully certified and trained adult IRG Speakers, IRG Youth continuously receives training on speaking about Islam and the Muslim experience to non-Muslim audiences. IRG Youth presentations typically operate in group settings, with 5–7 youth giving one presentation together. They take turns delivering the standard 101 presentation information, and then with answering audience questions. Given that our youth are students, IRG Youth presentations typically happen during evenings or weekends at houses of worship or community education settings.
If you are interested in arranging an IRG Youth presentation at your school, organization, or house of worship, please contact IRG Youth Coordinator Farhana Ali.

IRG Youth Video Series – #myMNmosque
In October 2019, IRG was awarded a starter grant from Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) to develop a video series titled #myMNmosque. This grant was applied for and awarded specifically to involve and develop the skills of our IRG Youth. As we move forward with the project, our youth from mosques in the Twin Cities will be involved in every aspect of the planning, filming, and distribution of these videos, largely producing the videos themselves with limited adult supervision.
The goal with the series is primarily to provide youth with the opportunity to work in teams and build professional skills, which is a key aspect of our IRG Youth programming. Our hope is that the videos will encourage non-Muslims to facilitate visits and participate in interfaith programming with the Muslim community, and that IRG Youth can have a sharable deliverable to be proud of and carry with them for years to come.
Those interested in learning more about the project or being a site host for the video, please contact Communications & Engagement Coordinator, Rebecka Green, at rebecka@irgmn.org
